Project Description

The strategic project aims to fully rehabilitate and upgrade the water infrastructure in several priority areas in North and South Sinai, in order to improve service quality, ensure network efficiency, and secure sustainable access to potable water for local communities. The works include the following: installation of new pipes and transmission and distribution lines, implementation of household connections, installation of control valves, and construction of pumping stations. These interventions are essential to enhance the network’s capacity to accommodate urban growth and address challenges associated with the increasing demand for water.

Scope of Work

The following areas are involved in the rehabilitation and renewal of the water network:

Water Transmission Line: 560 mm diameter, 4.3 km in length.

Al-Masa’id Area: UPVC pipes ranging from 110 mm to 630 mm in diameter, totaling 86.5 km.

High Tank Area: UPVC pipes ranging from 110 mm to 630 mm in diameter, covering 244 km.

Al-Safa Area: UPVC pipes ranging from 110 mm to 710 mm in diameter, spanning 148 km.

Karm Abu Najeela Area: Pump station with a capacity of 7,000 m³/day, and UPVC pipes from 110 mm to 315 mm in diameter, covering 29 km.

Al-Raisa Area: UPVC pipes from 110 mm to 315 mm in diameter, totaling 133 km in length
