Project Description

  • The new sewage treatment plants in new 6th of October city have a total capacity of 3.5 million m³/day, serving 6th of October, Hadayek October, and New 6th of October, Sphinx , New Zayed , Jiryan . The first phase has a capacity of 150,000 – 300,000 m³/day. Designed according to Egyptian Law 44/2000 and the national sewage treatment standards, the plants use a conventional activated sludge system with tertiary treatment. The treated water will be used for irrigation inside and outside the city

Scope of Work

  •  The design package covers civil guide drawings of process units and complete package of civil works, electrotechnical works, and HVAC for all units and site utilities, including:
  • Water, drainage, storm, irrigation, firefighting and electrical networks.
  • Specifications for all disciplines  for all project components.
  • Plant components include:
