Project description:
Al-Gabal Al-Asfar Wastewater Treatment Plant is capable of cleansing 1.7 million cubic meters of wastewater daily. Located at the northeast border of Cairo, Egypt.
The plant conducts primary and secondary treatment of water, removes grit and uses sedimentation, aeration, final settling and clarification andchlorination techniques to purify water completely to treat wastewater effectively
.treated effluent from this plant is used to plant olive, jojoba and flowers in a 40 Acre stretch of landadjoined to it.
The current project aims at enhancing the performance of infrastructure utilities at site to maintainproper operation.
Hydro scope:
Prepare workshop drawings for piping between administration buildings, water, sludge, drain, scumand overflow systems which consists of polyethylene, concrete and ductile cast iron pipes. The workincludes pipe diameters ranging from 150 mm up to 3000 mm. In addition to utility networks forsewage, potable water, service water, firefighting, irrigation and electrical workshop drawing.
