Project Description

The East Port Said Sewage Pump Station is an essential / key infrastructure component within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) in Egypt. Located in this strategically important industrial and logistics hub. The SCZone, which is positioned along the northern entrance of the Suez Canal, is designed to support industrial, commercial, and residential growth, and the sewage pump station is a key element in maintaining the area’s environmental and operational sustainability.

Scope of Work

Review and approve the detailed design, shop drawings, quantity take-off (QTO), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and as-built drawings for the architectural, structural, electromechanical, pipeline network, and site works of Pump Station 38-01*. The pumping station is designed for a total capacity of 885 L/s (76,464 m³/day) at a Total Dynamic Head (TDH) of 34 m and is equipped with ten (10) sewage pumps (8 Duty + 2 Standby).The scope includes review of the pump station building, electrical substation, RMU, guard room, water hammer protection system, valve chambers, odor control system, flow meter chamber, two (2) discharge pipelines (Ø1200 mm), fire-fighting networks, site cable routes, external lighting poles, landscaping works, roads, and all associated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and external infrastructure works.
