Project Description

A major sewage system extension project connecting New Cairo City and its urban expansions along the Suez Road to El-Gabal El-Asfar WWTP through large-diameter pipeline networks and associated infrastructure.

Scope of Work

This project aims to extend the sewage network to a section of New Cairo City and its surrounding urban expansions along the Suez Road, linking it to the El-Gabal El-Asfar wastewater treatment plant. The work involves the design, construction, and installation of the necessary infrastructure to collect and transport wastewater to the treatment plant for processing and disposal.

 

  • Complete design for all disciplines.
  • Construction supervision of the following works.
  • Piping: total length of 15,179 meters of 3400 mm pipes.
  • 12,923 meters by open-cut installation.
  • 2,256 meters by pipe jacking.
  • 76 manholes.
  • Pipe jacking along the entire project route with diameters of 2000 mm, 2250 mm, 2700 mm, 3000 mm, and 3400 mm.
  • 38 crossings with a total length of 9,772 meters.
  • Pipes 2000 mm and 2500 mm: total length of 6,069 meters with 35 manholes.
  • Pipes 2000 mm and 2250 mm: total length of 8,252 meters with 51 manholes.
