Baladrooz WTP

A potable water treatment project with a nominal production capacity of 2,000 m³/h, including a new intake from El Rooz Canal, two booster stations and associated transmission and distribution pipelines.
Scope of Work:

• Detailed design review of a 2,000 m³/h Water Treatment Plant.
•  Detailed design review of two booster stations.
•  Review of the associated transmission and distribution pipelines.
•  Verification of the hydraulic and structural design of the intake structure from El Rooz Canal.
•  Review of treatment processes, hydraulic profile, mechanical and electrical systems, chemical dosing and storage tanks.
•  Review of the Baladrooz and Imam Asker booster stations.
•  Review of pump selection, hydraulic head, surge protection, layouts and MEP systems.
•  Review of HDPE PN10 pipelines delivering flows between 42 and 444 L/s.
•  Pipeline diameters ranging from 250 to 800 mm.
•  Verification of pipeline lengths, hydraulic calculations, connections and valve arrangements.
•  Review of electrical supply, automation, instrumentation, control and SCADA systems.
•  Review of buildings, foundations, supports and site layouts.
• Verification that drawings, BOQs and designs comply with the project specifications.
