Project Description

  • The sewage treatment plant project, located in Sheikh Shibika village, Darwa, in Markaz Malawi, South Minya Governorate, spans 35 Feddans and has a production capacity of 70,000/40,000 cubic meters per day using Extended Aeration System. The plant will serve 21 villages in the area.
  • This project is part of the presidential “Hayah Karima” (Decent Life) initiative, which aims to improve the living standards of citizens in underserved rural areas and enhance essential public service

Scope of Work

  • Based on the civil guide drawings provided by the process designer “Intech,” Hydro has developed the complete design package for all plant units, encompassing architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical aspects. The package also includes the preparation of bills of quantities and technical specifications for civil works.
  • Plant units include:
